- Domain, hosting, external API, paid asset, and third-party service charges.
- New functions or substantial specification changes outside the agreed quotation.
Payment schedule
As a general rule, a 50% deposit is due when the agreement is accepted, and work begins after the deposit is received. The remaining 50% is due within seven days after delivery and acceptance. Projects lasting more than two months or involving a larger scope may use milestone payments agreed in advance. Work outside the original quotation is priced separately after the additional cost and schedule have been confirmed. Bank transfer is the standard payment method for projects in Japan. Stripe is available for international payments or when card payment is preferred. Clients are responsible for bank transfer charges, including sending and intermediary bank fees for international transfers. The confirmed payment method, currency, and due dates are stated in the quotation or agreement.
