About the space experience

The planets, lighting, clouds, star field, and motion on this site are artistic web interpretations based on publicly available observational media. They include colour adjustment, compositing, deformation, and animation, and are not scientific visualisations or representations of exact times and positions. NASA, JPL, ESA, and the other credited organisations do not endorse, sponsor, or have an affiliation with SAINO or this website.

Earth

The daylight surface is based on NASA Visible Earth Blue Marble media, and the night surface is based on NASA Earth Observatory Earth at Night media. Clouds, oceans, city lights, and polar areas have been composited and adjusted for web display.
