This page explains how information is handled when you use the SAINO website, Prompt Canvas, or send an enquiry.

This policy applies when you browse the SAINO website or send an enquiry through it. If a product has its own notice or terms concerning information it handles, those materials also apply to that product.
Information we collect
The enquiry form collects the type of consultation, your name, email address, and message. We also collect a company or organisation name and a subject when you choose to enter them.
Cookies and browser storage
The site stores a cookie named “saino_locale” for up to one year to remember the display language you selected. The space-experience page also stores journey progress in sessionStorage until that browser tab is closed. We do not currently use either for advertising or behavioural tracking.
Information processed when you access the site
To deliver the site securely, prevent misuse, and investigate failures, the hosting infrastructure may process information such as your IP address, browser and device information, access time, and request details.
How we use information
We use information to reply to enquiries, verify identity, clarify requirements, discuss quotations and production, administer orders, payment, delivery and refunds, provide product support, investigate defects, misuse and security incidents, send important update notices, and create and retain accounting and tax records.
Information handled by Prompt Canvas
Image editing, projects, autosaves, version comparison, prompt and change-JSON generation, and exports are processed on the user’s PC. Prompt Canvas does not automatically send feedback, screenshots, projects, API keys, or local file paths to SAINO. Only when the user explicitly runs the experimental AI-analysis feature and approves the send review are the image and instructions sent to the selected AI destination. API keys are not persistently stored by Prompt Canvas.
Prompt Canvas feedback
Feedback is processed only when the user explicitly chooses to copy it, save a JSON report, or create an email. If an email is sent, its contact details and content are used to respond, investigate defects, prevent abuse, and improve the product. Do not include secrets, API keys, or another person’s private information.
Processors and external services
Cloudflare is used to deliver this website. Form submissions are relayed through FormSubmit to a mailbox managed by SAINO. FormSubmit states that submitted content is retained for 30 days. Google Gmail is used to receive and retain email, and Stripe or Gumroad is used when the corresponding payment route is selected. For Gumroad orders, Gumroad processes information needed for payment, tax handling, and digital delivery. These providers may process or store information outside Japan. SAINO does not store card numbers in its site or products.
Disclosure to third parties
We do not disclose personal information to third parties unless you consent, disclosure is required by law, or disclosure is necessary to protect life or property and obtaining consent is difficult. Where a service provider processes information on our behalf, we require appropriate handling within the necessary scope.
Security and retention
We use safeguards proportionate to the processing and risk, including encrypted transmission, data minimisation, and access controls. Enquiries, support, and feedback are normally retained for two years after a matter closes. Purchase, payment, refund, contract, accounting, and tax records are normally retained for seven years or another period required by law. Information is deleted or anonymised when no longer needed.
Requests about your information
Use the contact page to request notice of purpose, access, correction, addition, deletion, suspension of use, erasure, or suspension of third-party disclosure. We will verify your identity and respond in accordance with applicable law. If a request cannot be fulfilled, we will explain why.
Operator information
This website is operated by SAINO / Operator: Yusuke Sano. The operator’s address and telephone number will be disclosed without delay upon request when their display or provision is legally required for a transaction. Send disclosure requests through the enquiry form.
Changes
We may update this policy when the service, the external services it uses, or applicable requirements change. The updated text and revision date will be published on this page.
